A one-day event organised by Cisco and the Next Generation Networking Interest group, for leading members of the UK universities data networking research community to meet with technology leaders from Cisco, discussing challenges being faced by network users across Service Provider, Media, Mobile, Enterprise/ Commercial and Public Sectors. CISCO is a keen supporter of the UK research community and is looking for opportunities to assist research proposals through EPSRC Grant application support, CASE studentship support and European research programs engagement.
With a deeper insight into the actual challenges customers face as they work to adopt new technologies, the day will provide attendees with the chance to identify specific areas for future focussed research as well as opportunities for potential collaboration between the academic community and Cisco, clearly linked to industrial impact.
